In order to make accurate balance calculations for your accounts, it is important that you set the correct Fiscal Year date. For example, if you calculate your taxes from Jan 1st through Dec 31st, you will want to set the Fiscal Year date to Jan 1 of the current year; the most recent Jan 1st you have passed. |
